The "Not Just Another Fish on a T-Shirt" Series started because people when they found out that I did computerised embroidery, would always ask "What do you do after you have sewn a fish on a T-Shirt?" Well, my answer has always been "Anything you want!!"
As someone who has always been outside the box, I love to stretch what is considered normal in the world of embroidery. Also, I have always felt that design sets should come with ideas and projects, not just a collection of neat designs. Now some of the ideas are perhaps a little out of the ordinary, but many are great starting points for anyone.
Sashiko Tumbling Block Design Set
$45 per set
This has 10 different hexagonal sashiko designs. They are digitized to look like hand done sashiko designs.
Each Design comes with a circle outline, a hexagon outline, a lined option and is available in 3 different sizes; 4 inch, 5 inch and 6 inch tall! In addition, since they remined me of the tumbling blocks, I have included the tumbling blocks, and partial tumbling blocks to complete a runner or to have straight edges. Also a flap design is included if you wanted a tabbed edge on a jacket.
They are available in most of the popular embroidery formats. Artista users may use the EXP format, or alternatively import a different format into their Artista Software and save as an Art format. The CD includes a PDF folder that has the project idea book and pictures of the projects shown in the book so that the user may see the details.
